Dr. Daniel Lee is a Southern California native, having lived in both Los Angeles and San Diego the majority of his life. After he received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in General Biology from UCSD in 2012, Dr. Lee was awarded a US Navy Health Professions Scholarship, which supported him through completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Upon graduating in 2018, he moved back to San Diego to complete his one-year General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center. Since then, Dr. Lee has served over four years as an active duty dental officer for the US Navy. His military background has sharpened his skillset, and has equipped him with a unique sense of service he is excited to bring to the community at Modern Dentistry.

Aside from his professional pursuits, Dr. Lee enjoys staying active during his free time. Golfing, fishing, climbing, or taking his dog to her favorite park... you name it. He thrives in the outdoors
